Repurposing an old boot


A clever idea for a quick way to create a bird (or wasp) habitat.  I might try this in our woods and see what happens.

    I think it is important to remember the main reason why birdhouses have small entry holes -- the idea is that the parents can squeeze in when they need to, but predators can't gain entry. The boot looks like baby birds on the half shell.
