In which a polio survivor tries to achieve a dream. It's ten minutes long. If your life is one of constant TL;DR, try the first two minutes and then decide whether you have time to see the rest.
Donations to help him are accepted at
The Rise Insitute. And I don't understand why they can't bury the helicopter in the churchyard with him; can't they dig the hole a little deeper?
A hat tip to reader Rob in Colorado, who found the link and emailed it to me.
I think the donations there are for the Rise Institute to continue their work... not to help him individually.
ReplyDeleteI guess that depends on whether you believe what the message says at the Paypal button: "All donations go to help Agustin and to save the helicopter!"
DeleteThis is Tyler Bastian. I am the Co-Director of the film. All donations through The Rise Institute and Indiegogo will go to help Agustin.

I think the donations do go for Agustin.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the helicopter goes, he never says he wants it buried with him. It seemed more an attempt at humor on the part of the pastor(?)
Well, Agustin never says that in the filmed interview, but the fact that the priest offers that unusual comment makes me think that Agustin had requested it at some point in the past.
