Enchondroma of the scapula (1863)


Enchondromas are benign tumors of cartilagenous tissue.

  1. Well, mostly benign. They can be painful, cause pathogenic fractures, and although rare, can become cancerous. Even more rarely, they can be metastatic pulmonary lesions.

    I expect your fellow is not terribly comfortable, there.
