Poliosis is a condition in which there is a lack of pigment in the hair, eyebrows and eyelashes, which appear whitish, grey. The condition normally occurs in patches. You can go your whole life without hearing of Vogt-Koyanagi-Harada syndrome.... then hear it about it two times in as many months in two wildly different circumstances. Just goes to show you what a weird thing life is... and what a wonderful blog you so graciously maintain for us all. Thanks!
