Scenic softball field

Located at Yosemite National Park.
"Yosemite is a unique national park in that it has an actual village (called Yosemite Village) where year-round employees live right in the heart of the park, completely surrounded by tourist activity and insanely beautiful granite cliffs, peaks, and waterfalls. This ball field is on the edge of an entire neighborhood where my grandma lived when she was born. It’s residential so they don’t really care for tourists wandering through, but it’s pretty interesting to take a walk through and see all of the old houses. The homes my grandma lived in 75 years ago are still being used today. There’s also an elementary school adjacent to this field."

  1. That picture is so photoshopped it hurts. There is no ball field in Yosemite!

    1. If that's the case, I'll delete the post. Did you use to work there?

    2. On the Google Map satellite image of Yosemite Valley, it looks like there could be a ball field next to the elementary school.

  2. As far as I know, there's a group of Native Americans living in the Grand Canyon, Havasupai, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Havasupai_people , or as they prefer to be called, Havsuw’ Baaja. There's some books on them too!
