I'm pretty sure these are lecture notes from the University of Sydney, where i studied chemistry not long ago. Either that or they plagiarised the joke from elsewhere.
This reminds me of comments regarding testicular scans in my nuclear medicine procedures manual: "Could be problematic on previously castrated men and female patients."
