How to turn a banana into a seagull's head

Does anyone know what the drink is, or whether it normally is served with half a banana?  Clever, though.

  1. My first thought was that it looked like a dolphin. :)

    1. When I was searching for a source, I did find other images described as dolphins. Looks more avian to me, but a dolphin would make more sense.

  2. A banana margarita? Made with blue curÇao?

  3. Margarita was my first thought too, judging by the salt-encrusted rim. Strictly speaking, however, a margarita should be served in a glass shaped more like a champagne coupe, so it could be a local flavour of martini or some such (that would explain the olive).

  5. The largest file that I could find (dated 2007) is here (along with many other images that are not as cute, in my opinion): http://forum.rustavi2.com/lofiversion/index.php/t5150-950.html

    In any case, nice find!

    1. Following up on your clue, I found it here -

      - dated 2/4/2007, and entitled "drink delphin", which is Polish for "dolphin."

  6. Then, using banana dolphin as the search terms, I found some older material on Google. But I'm not sure it's worth chasing further.

  7. Looks like a Sapphire Martini, which would make sense with the Olive.
