Hiatus

I need to take about a week off to attend to family/financial matters.  Back probably next weekend.

    OMG, your name is Stan? I always thought "Minnesotastan" (with the emphasis on the "o") was a reference to eastern Europe containing ironic political undertones. Was I the only one?

    brentusfirmus, many years ago I Googled "Minnesotastan" and discovered that the term has been used in the world of political commentary as a derogatory term for what was perceived as the liberal state of Minnesota, to imply a connection to the "Commie pinko" eastern bloc "stans."

    But I started using the term because my first name is Stan and I'm from Minnesota.
