How can people (particularly those robbed of their mobility by their corpulence) afford to eat so much?
ReplyDeleteWherever their meals are discussed, one never sees "ten pounds of steamed rice" or "eight baked potatoes" (or really any cheap high-calorie staples) so does this phenomenon always imply social or filial comorbidity in the form of a feeding support network?
Those willing to support this kind of self-destructive goal seem to be more dangerous than those willing to undertake it.
I feel sorry for her kids who will soon grow up without a mother. Very selfish thing she is doing.
ReplyDeleteShe should be required to take a mental health examination. Either she's self-destructive and wants to harm herself (reason for involuntary commitment in most states) or she wants to get attention/be famous at ANY cost. If it is the latter, no organization should ever take her picture or mention her name ever again as behavior like that should never be encouraged. But, given our current media environment, the closer she gets to her goal, the more press she will get. Sometimes I really hate our society.

Does she have the income to do this or is public assistance being used. Does state or federal inusrance pay when her health starts to fail? Stupid.

People to "fat" to work get social security... and since she's on it, both her children would also get a check.

All she really needs to do is move to the US.
ReplyDeleteI suspect that to get that large at such an early age there is a partial medical cause of some sort. What is sad is that she has surrendered.
ReplyDeleteShe really needs to sign a waiver stating that she will never use public assistance or health care. That way she does it all on her own. Oh and take those kids away because she is choosing to participate in a form of child abuse.

ReplyDeleteIts probably a joke, folks. The kink of personality it takes to get this big often comes with an oversized propensity for self-depreciating humor. They are often warmest of people, but have a sense of hopelessness about self-control over eating, and joke about it.
