  1. Q.E.D I expect from the Urban Dictionary - first entry. In any case reminds me of JPL scientists failing a few years ago to convert correctly between metric and imperial measurements thereby losing a Mars probe.

  2. They clearly meant the boiling point of pentane (C5H12). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pentane
    which boils at 97F.

    Or perhaps they meant the boiling point of water at 1 psi of pressure? (102F)
