Remember, the earth rotates, not the stars


This video, by bulletpeople, adjusts the time-lapse images to keep the stars fixed, thus showing the earth's rotation during the available darkness.

  2. Neat - it really needs to be done properly, now. Fix the camera to the azimuth mounting of a telescope so you don't get the matting effect.

  3. I think the whole universe rotates around us. ;) In fact, relatively-speaking, it does. (Isn't that the idea behind relativity.. it all depends on perspective?)
