Not a children's book

Clearly marketed for haggard parents to give to one another.  The text is not great poetry, but I guess that's not the point.  Full text and illustrations here.

  1. I posted that on my mother's facebook page. She and my father can still recite my favorite little baby book...even though I'm almost 30. She'll love this. I didn't sleep through the night until I was 18 months old. I have memories of them giving up and letting me watch Carson with them.

  4. Reminds me of "An Entirely Other Day" by Greg Knauss. Here's the post from July 6th, 2000

"If you teach a toddler that pressing your nose makes you honk, eventually he's going to wonder what sound you make if he jabs you in the eye."

Read the rest. It's really funny.
