Ultralight in the Himalayas

  1. Ultra-lights are terrible in high winds (as in over 15 mph or so), and what you have in high mountains is high winds. So that is not something any sane person would do. A crash out there is nearly certain death, mostly because of the difficult terrain. Even just a broken leg might be fatal.
