Holy cow!!

Closed circuit television footage taken inside a Pacific Sun Cruise liner while encountering heavy swells.

You reactions will probably vary from laughter at the absurdity, to cringing at the lady's face plant on the column, to shuddering at the dangers involved.

Found at Reddit, where there is a discussion thread.

Addendum:  This report describes the incident and the injuries incurred.

  1. I am astounded and amazed by this. Also somewhat amused by how people handle themselves under such daunting conditions. Some panic, some, like the bartenders, apparently go elsewhere, while some go with the flow.
My main question, however, is what cruise line is this. I want to avoid sailing on a ship which does not have better stabilization than this.

  3. What amazes me is the fact that no single piece of furniture is riveted to the ground on this king of boat...

  6. It's a miracle nobody was killed. And I do *not* envy whoever had to clean up after all that.

  7. Very irresponsible of the crew. They clearly don't understand the command 'secure for sea'.

  8. I read the included articles, and think it's either insulting or hilarious that Pacific offered the passengers 25% off their next ticket.

What a terrifying experience it must have been.
