How about a little warning when you post someone with their guts splayed open? Love your blog but would like the option not to look at gross stuff :-)
I found the photo on this post, which pointed to this page at the National Museum of Health and medicine. Yes, it's a trichobezoar.
Sean, I don't consider a surgical incision to be offensive. I do try to warn people re trauma, war injuries, etc. But the human body, including malfomations, should elicit wonder, not repulsion.And if hairballs bother you, you must not own a cat...

Didn't say it was offensive, just not lunchtime fare. If I'm in the minority on that, I'm happy to pipe down.
Ideally, a Bovie was not used to make the initial gastrotomy, ha.....
