Nursery inspectors continue to encounter hostas with mottled, crinkled, deformed or abnormally streaked leaves indicative of HVX. Since mid-April, the virus has been found on the cultivars 'Albo-marginata', 'August Moon', 'Dream Weaver', 'Earth Angel', 'Krossa Regal', 'Paul's Glory', 'Sum and Substance' and 'Wide Brim'... Hostas expressing the symptoms listed should be returned to the supplier or destroyed.
