  1. In some parts of Minnesota, that's normal conditions during the winter.

  2. Uh oh, I will be in Mountain Iron in Minnesota for work next week - better pack my woollies! It's in the low (positive) thirties Celsius here in Brisbane (Australia) at the moment... but having spent a lot of time in Yellowknife in the North West Territories of Canada (where a 'normal' day during winter is -40C) hopefully it won't be too much of a shock...

    Texas!
You ought to think about heading back down this way.
Usually no snow all winter. If it does, it burns off the next day.
Sunny and near 70 today (January 21) - 80 on Thursday!

    1. Ten years in Dallas was enough. I miss the music, but not much else. Perhaps someday I'll be like my dad, who was a snowbird in a Rio Grande Valley trailer park for many years.

  5. The coldest weather I've ever had to deal with was -30 C. I can't even imagine -60!

I like the part about outside travel "not being permitted". REALLY? :D
