Another time, I was had an All Black in and his partner who was in a band at the time. He was a typical NZ rugby player while she was a tiny, little thing... they ordered a large all-day breakfast and a muesli... oops.. she was actually the breakfast (which she finished) and he was the muesli...
I also find when parents are in with children, the woman often forgets to order her meal while the man orders drinks first then often forgets a child's meal.
It's an interesting job that sometimes challenges gender prejudices while other times reinforces them...
