The carnivorous plants of Mount Roraima

This tepui has fascinated primeval indigenous humans, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, and the Disney/Pixar animation team.  It has to be one of the most spectacularly isolated sites on earth.  Several thousand feet of vertical walls have until recent years limited human access.

The slow-motion footage of the bladderwort and sundew are particularly striking.
