How many seconds are left in 2009?

Go to Google and do NOT enter anything in the search box. Just click "I'm feeling lucky." It will count down for you.

Found at Reddit.

Update: Did you spend New Year's Eve watching this link? (neither did I). But you can follow the directions and see a little something.

  1. Hmm, I just get this:

The "I'm Feeling LuckyTM" button automatically takes you to the first web page returned for your query.
An "I'm Feeling Lucky" search means less time searching for web pages and more time looking at them

  2. Biker, you're missing the point. Go to Google, do NOT TYPE ANYTHING in the search box. Just click "I'm feeling lucky." The countdown ticker should appear.

    Just click. Don't type.

  3. I didn't type. Just clicked. Got the "what the I'm feeling lucky button does" explanation. So sad. Probably our stupid firewall at work. They don't want us to know that the countdown is hours until they lay us off.

  4. I had the same problem as BikerPuppy, but then I logged out of my google account, and it worked.

  5. If your signed into your account going to google.com will take you to your igoogle page. Up at the top right it will say "classic google" click on that and then "I'm feeling Lucky" and it will work.
