These are a couple of photos from a set I received in one of those "viral" emails that people send to everyone else. They were labeled "Hiroshima 2009" and were followed by a set labelled "Detroit 2009." A reverse image search located the full set here and a partial one here.

ReplyDeleteActually those photos are from Yokohama, a satellite city south-west of Tokyo. It really is an amazing place to wander around and just look at.

Hiroshima isn't that spectacular (or at least doesn't have a tower tall enough to take photos like that from), but is definitely a vibrant, fairly well-to-do place.
Yes, that is Yokohama. I went to a school located in that sort of curved building, which is also a hotel.
