My best friend had a real problem in college with her dormmates never thinking of buying milk, and always helping themselves to hers- such that there was never any left for her when she wanted it.
Problem was solved when she began to take a Sharpie to the jugs, marking them 'MILK EXPERIMENT.'
(She justified this- as if she needed to- by saying she wasn't lying, only it was a sociological experiment)
