"An elderly man and woman evacuated from Rast weep as they try to build a chair on dry land."This photo and caption appeared on the BBC website in 2006 following flooding of the Danube in the spring of that year. It is certainly mild in comparison to most war and disaster images, but the photo still touches me whenever I view it.
