You've probably seen photos of "Starface" already...

... now here's one of the tattoo artist.

Details at the Daily Mail.

Update June 23: She has confessed that she was awake the entire time, lied about it and started to sue the tattoo artist because her father was angry with her. Details in the Telegraph this morning:

Mr Toumaniantz... had consistently denied he had made a mistake and always insisted Vlaminck wanted all 56 stars. "I maintain that she absolutely agreed that I tattoo those 56 stars on the left side of her face."

But despite insisting she had asked for 56 stars, he still initially agreed to pay for half of the treatment to remove the tattoos.

He said: "Kimberley is unhappy and it is not my wish to have an unsatisfied client."

"I don't regret it. To tell you the truth, this has given me some publicity." Mr Toumanaintz is now said to have withdrawn his cash offer and said from now on he will get written consent from clients before he begins tattooing.

He sounds like a classy guy.

  1. I think the funniest part has to be the $750 of jewelry in his face and the $10 glasses. I wonder if he can breath out of his nose better and what it feels like to get rain in your nose from that angle? I'm not judging, mind you, Im covered with tattoos.

  3. the only comment i have is; she said she didn't want to suffer though the pain (of three TINY star tattoos mind you) so she 'fell asleep'.

#1) a tiny star tattoo, well three of them would take NO longer than let's say 5 minutes
#2) i have many tattoos including stars (NOT on my face).
#3) one would NEVER be able to simply fall asleep in the midst of being tattooed
    #4) she's effing lying

  4. Stan, you say "He sounds like a classy guy" as if in a sarcastic manner.

If this was not your intent then I apologize for the following: If this was your intent, on what are you basing this characterization? His looks? The fact that he has chosen to distinguish himself physically from most other "normal looking" people in society?

Again, if you were not making the comment in a disparaging way please ignore my rhetorical outburst. Love the site.

  5. @JBW - rather than ignore your comment, let me clarify my full support for this young man, who did what was in my view an excellent tattoo job. More importantly (and a marker of true class), even when he knew that he had done what she wanted, he still offered to pay thousands of $ for a removal. I hope his business surges as a result of this incident.
