Bald eagles in an Alaskan back yard

"A bunch of bald eagles show up in our back yard. You get to hear a lot of the bald eagles talking. My kids get really close to them, they must really want more red salmon. Right now the salmon are running upstream to spawn so most of the locals are set-netting on the beach and smoking/canning/grilling some sockeye."
p.s. - the brief comment at the beginning re watching out for eagle poop bespeaks a bit of practical knowledge. Some of my friends in northern MN had their picnic table "redecorated" by an eagle dumping his/her load prior to takeoff; it's not a pleasant experience (think of stale dead fish passed through a gut...).
