Repurposing an historic building

Formerly the Golden Gate Lutheran Church, this stunning Gothic Revival style building... features an enormous living area that includes the original sanctuary... arched windows framing Dolores Park... four fireplaces... a new chef's kitchen and a spacious dining room. The Master suite level features a marble Roman tub room, dressing room and incredible 360 degree views from the tower meditation room and deck...
The real estate listing has a slideshow that documents an impressive makeover. For $10,000,000 you get a three-bedroom home - but what a living room!

  1. I've always wanted to live in a former church, well, those you can find in Europe. Funny for an atheist, isn't it?

  2. I too am an atheist and am in the midst of negotiating on a foreclosed church in Wisconsin. We many not appreciate the delusions, but the architecture is usually impressive.
