Harassment by the TSA - for carrying cash


A young man returning from a political event was carrying $4700 in cash prior to boarding a domestic flight. The DEA detained him. He asked what his legal rights were; they didn't know or wouldn't tell him. He continued to ask whether he was required by law to answer their questions.

I fully understand that in their eyes he was being "uncooperative," but I don't believe that gives them the right to harass him in this fashion.
