Chinese bicycle transport
I don't know the source of this photo, but presume the setting is China (P.R.C.) I visited a number of cities there in the 1980s before the country opened up and westernized, and I have strong memories of people's absolutely amazing bicycle skills.
I visited China a number of times in the late 90's, early 00's. The first trip, on the taxi ride from the airport to the hotel, I saw exactly that; a man carrying a refrigerator on a bicycle.
I thought I had seen it all at that point. But, apparently, it's a prescribed way to move refrigerators.
