Things are tough all 'round

Economic circumstances have forced the Dent-Brocklehurst family in Gloucester to move from their castle into a cowshed.

It's a nice castle, too - Sudeley. Recorded in the Domesday Book. Burial place of Catherine Parr and probably others (with Richard III as a prior owner, it might be instructive to check under the stairs...)

This isn't a foreclosure, but like many castle owners, the Dent-Brocklehursts are losing money hand-over-fist, so they need to open up the living quarters to tourists. The barn and cow stalls will be fixed up before the family move in.

  1. I'm sure the barn and cowstalls are rustic mansions to most of your avid readers like me.

  2. The Princes in the Tower "murder" was Tudor propaganda.
