The world's largest nuclear bomb

Not Hiroshima or Nagasaki. Bigger. The 50 megaton yield is equivalent to ten times the amount of all the explosives used in World War II combined, including the Little Boy and Fat Man, the bombs that destroyed Hiroshima and Nagasaki respectively.

Illustrative of the insanity of nuclear war.

  1. No, it's not the biggest bomb ever. Your 7 megatons under.
The largest ever bomb was the Tsar Bomb, 57 megatons, made by Russia, detonated on an arctic island, which it completely destroyed.

  2. This IS the Tsar bomb that is depicted in the video (although I did misunderstand the narration and typed 50 megatons rather than the 58 megatons he said).
