World record for live cockroaches held in one's mouth...

...now belongs to a Kentuckian. As a former resident of Kentucky I am disappointed that so many people view the state as a backwater inhabited by turtle-giggers and basketball players. Many admirable achievements have been recorded by Kentuckians, including the man in the video above, who just set a new record by holding 11 live Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches in his mouth. Way to go, dude.

(I am, however, disappointed that he didn't dress for the occasion by wearing a McCain/Palin T-shirt during the event...)
