Video of McCain supporters

I'm quite centrist in my political views, but will concede that after Ron Paul dropped out of the race, my coverage of the presidential campaign has tended to favor Barack Obama. In an effort to restore some balance, I now offer this 5-minute video in which McCain supporters elucidate their concerns and beliefs.

  1. I used to be a Republican, until the party abandoned it's original principles and sold out to the fundamentalists. These people are an embarassment to the democratic process.

  2. McCain is Kissinger's sock puppet and Obama is Brzezinski's.....vote Cthulhu!

  3. of course watching the typical voter from either side would scare me.

Was that the best you can do in the fair and balanced department ?

  4. I have to admit that your blog has tended to favor Obama, which I find odd since you say you are a Ron Paul supporter. Libertarians usually side more with conservative values (especially fiscal ones). To be honest, I find Ron Paul a more attractive candidate for President than John McCain. I just have no choice. My entire family is concerned about the Democrats returning to office. My wife is in the commercial real estate business and my dad is watching his investment value drop like...the dow jones. He isn't looking forward to capital gains taxing under an Obama administration. Republicans have lost their way. They went to Washington and became Democrats. Its simple. Cut spending. Balance the Budget. Peace comes from a strong defense. Encourage economic growth through less government interference and taxes. How hard is that?
