The Triumph of Death


Said to be from "A Book of Hours." The artwork and perspective seem newer, but I'm no expert. Found at Monster Brains.

    They aren't. I have seen a whole slew of these illustrations before, and they are indeed very, very old, though the stylized skeletal figures were certainly hundreds of years ahead of their time...
