The world's longest-lasting war...

...was the Three Hundred and Thirty-five Years War, between the Netherlands and the Isles of Scilly. It lasted from 1651 to 1986.

There were no casualties.

(There's an obvious pun here, but I'll refrain...)

    1. Wow, you're challenging my memory becaue I wrote this post six years ago. I believe I was suggesting an allusion to a 335-year-long war with no casualties being a "Scilly" war.
