Portable fiberoptics

"The new Ridgid SeeSnake micro Inspection Camera allows you to easily perform visual inspections in hard to reach areas. This tool can be used in all industries from construction to A/V Equipment. The fully adjustable LED screen allows for higher visibility on the LCD monitor and it only weighs 3 pounds so you can take it everywhere. In the dark between insulation and drywall? No problem, the camera head is equipped with fully adjustable LED lighting and it is waterproof. Its lightweight handheld design means that it can be carried anywhere--providing solutions when and where you need them, while allowing you to offer more services and increase productivity. No more struggling with a mirror and flashlight."

The wand is 3 feet long. Attachments include a mirror, hook and magnet.

Much better than a metal detector for locating treasure hidden inside the walls of abandoned buildings - although I have no doubt most of these will be purchased for a variety of nefarious purposes... And are the days of self-colonoscopy far away??
