I suggest early 1950s. The auto appears to be a 1946/47 Ford. Enlarging the bumper section of the car, I think I can make out "1950" along the bottom of the license plate.
I think what looks like "50" on the bottom of the plate is the "SO" of "Minnesota." But I'll agree on the date of the car. I've revised the post to say "late 1940s." Thanx for the headsup.
