So when she sends my husband notes like this, I have to remind him that she probably meant to underline or bold the words in question: Son, you're the "best" son I could imagine. You work "so hard" and are "so considerate", that I can barely contain my "admiration" for you.

She also randomly changes the color and font of various words, I suspect because she can do so easily with her newfangled computer thingie. Thanks for the "smile".Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912713243046142041.post-39618850384897825882015-11-03T11:58:16.593-06:002015-11-03T11:58:16.593-06:00I presume renoun doesn't reverb-erate with you...I presume renoun doesn't reverb-erate with you?charlesnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912713243046142041.post-78081221765148448192015-11-03T10:01:49.003-06:002015-11-03T10:01:49.003-06:00i did not take typing, but i was taught that same ...i did not take typing, but i was taught that same rule - two spaces after the end of the sentence. and, a comma before the 'and' in a list.

:-)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912713243046142041.post-4237835117581520592015-11-03T07:03:03.360-06:002015-11-03T07:03:03.360-06:00I took typing in 1970, in my last year of high sch...I took typing in 1970, in my last year of high school. Two spaces after the end of a sentence is what it was. Still looks better than one space and makes text easier to read, even if you're using proportional fonts. _Especially_ if you're using proportional fonts and you have a sentence ending in an abbreviation.

Lurker111
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912713243046142041.post-55264791824739852012015-11-03T03:43:02.826-06:002015-11-03T03:43:02.826-06:00You Victorian rascal, you :)You Victorian rascal, you :)Drabkikkerhttp://drabkikker.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912713243046142041.post-59805160019422366862015-11-02T17:39:17.392-06:002015-11-02T17:39:17.392-06:00You're reading it.
