I had to get rid of many of my milkweed pods because the tachinid fly lays eggs on the surface and the larvae burrow through. Ugh. Check to make sure there are no dark spots on the surface of your pods because that's a sign that the tachinid fly has been there.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
