Aphorisms are always too simple, but that's also their attraction, they help us think about difficult topics in simpler symbols; helps us wrap our arms around some of these things.embeeteenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912713243046142041.post-61945409691889085642016-07-26T08:19:03.905-05:002016-07-26T08:19:03.905-05:00The irony is, the selected quote pretty much exact...The irony is, the selected quote pretty much exactly describes life under Communism as the older generation remembers.

"millennials ... downshift ambitions...relearn the habits of communal living, making do with less...bartering necessary skills..."

OK, in communist countries the jobs are not casualized: instead they are given to cronies and unfireable chairwarmers with lifelong contracts.

"... questioning the value of a. For example, the ideal society is somewhat capitalist but not too much so. Ordinary people know this, but there is a need for better ways to express it, in order to give common sense arguments more rhetorical force.Adrian Morganhttp://outerhoard.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912713243046142041.post-76936733638296359202016-07-21T20:32:56.876-05:002016-07-21T20:32:56.876-05:00Police, fire departments, public schools, librarie...Police, fire departments, public schools, libraries, Medicare, public roads, bridges and infrastructure...
