What these glasses do is reduce the overlap between those colors, allowing you to distinguish them better. Impressive and touching, for sure (even if many of these videos <a href="http://www.chiefmarketer.com/pro-awards-winners/gold-best-use-of-socialviral-marketing-in-a-campaign-2016/" rel="nofollow">are part of a campaign</a>), but it's not "seeing color for the first time". I just saw this ad earlier today: https://youtu.be/zi7R66sgvfU<br />The ad is for Tennessee's fall foliage and explains how they've installed special viewers at scenic lookouts throughout the state so colorblind people can enjoy the colors. I wondered about the technology but hadn't gotten around to looking into it before I dropped by TYWKIWDBI (admittedly one of the first things I do when I open my browser).
