All animals pace (left side together, right side together) when aggressive, threatening or bored; some, such as raccoons and skunks, habitually pace.Maiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18358618477570574559noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912713243046142041.post-59750963762507592372011-05-01T07:03:44.097-05:002011-05-01T07:03:44.097-05:00Unlike dogs, with their jumping stick chasing rand...Unlike dogs, with their jumping stick chasing random late night scampering be it with a one leg two leg three leg five motion, cats, on the other hand (or leg) don't move at all. When walking, one was a consistent trotter (she moved her legs in diagonal pairs), and the other a consistent pacer (she moved her legs laterally). The trotter, called "Pino Bosi", lived to be 18 and died of cancer; the pacer, whose name was "Captain Midight of the Space Patrol", lived to be 24 years old... They were lovely cats, both of them!Dr. Miekehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13507695484854521737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912713243046142041.post-32423996389505470552010-06-20T21:06:16.482-05:002010-06-20T21:06:16.482-05:00It does seem counterintuitive, but look at this vi...It does seem counterintuitive, but look at this video of a white tiger walking in a zoo - one side first, and then the other...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yWTfqNPwfDoMinnesotastanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01382888179579245181noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4912713243046142041.post-92083603828935571732010-06-20T18:45:51.086-05:002010-06-20T18:45:51.086-05:00Isn't this just false?
