"Things You Wouldn't Know If We Didn't Blog Intermittently."
Hm… When I open this image in Photoshop and take color readings I get small but significant differences in the colors of the background dots.
Same here with Paint Shop Pro. There's even variation within a portion/strip of an exposed circle.
That's probably some distortion caused by the jpg compression. For images like these, a lossless format like png would be preferable. OT: Wow!
it is a jpg and the compression changes the colors, slightly. if it was a bitmap, then the circles could all be the same color.I-)
Found the original! In png format, so no color distortion: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/oi9wdd0uc5uc700/AABXctX8-HrjsMlaafDKAltFa/Confetti%201.png?dl=0 The maker is David Novick, and he has several more versions in his Dropbox.
I've replaced the original image with the one you found. Thanks, Drabkikker.
