A website for the eternal students among us

Yesterday I came across Better Yourself Online, a website focusing on self-improvement techniques.

What caught my eye was the link to 60 free literature courses from universities.  The one I clicked on allowed me to download PowerPoint presentations from a series of lectures; there might be others formatted as audio podcasts.

Looks like an interesting resource.  Feel free to explore and write a comment on this post.

  1. You may be interested in the open yale courses at http://oyc.yale.edu/. They have many free online courses ranging from African American studies to biomedical engineering, all in video, audio and transcript! Good teachers too..

  2. I'm finding Udacity good too - currently going through the 'descriptive statistics' course and learning quite a bit

  3. You would also probably enjoy and benefit from Open Culture's list of free courses from top universities http://www.openculture.com/freeonlinecourses. Open Culture has links/lists for other free resources online (books, movies, etc.) and is actively curated/maintained.
