Bars restricted to older adults


The image was posted at Reddit, and the discussion thread comments indicated that such establishments are rare in the United States, but not uncommon elsewhere.

(note the sign should read "greater than or equal to." It's not just for 23-year-olds)

  2. I don' t know if it would be legal in the U.S. at large as the legal drinking age is 21.

    1. The example in the photo is a bar in the United States (in Baltimore).

    2. Maybe thereks language in the licensing code that let's owners name the age of folks able to drink in their establishments.
      I can certainly understand why a place would restriict certain ages but last I thought refusing legal trade to a customer for arbitrary reasons was discrimination.
