"Rev. Thomas Childe Barker and his daughter"

The photograph was taken (and presumably composed) by Charles Lutwidge Dodgson (Lewis Carroll) in 1864.  Every picture may tell a story, but this one seems a bit obscure.

  1. It looks as if she just "turned" him a la Twilight.

  2. I love the cut of those old morning coats. Style and practicality all in one.

  3. Perhaps I am the only person on earth who knows the truth about this photograph. And I shall take its secret to my grave.
