  1. I think this should be emailed to every politico on the planet.

    1. It's a great quote, but it assumes they have a conscience that could be somehow moved swayed, affected. Too many politicians are concerned solely with their own personal wealth and power. They see the above and think- how much more of that jewel can I carve out for myself?

  6. anon, what are you talking about? From Wikipedia:

"As the lunar module pilot of Apollo 14, he spent nine hours working on the lunar surface in the Fra Mauro Highlands region, making him the sixth person to walk on the Moon."

  10. I like that this is like a time machine, wherein I can go back to 2012 and say " Can you ban all posts from people whom remain nameless or hide behind the label of Anonymous or Anon.
Anonymous as far as I am concerned means 'a non entity, as scared and puny as a mouse'.
Grow a pair or go away, is my colourful banner on the subject.
My name is William Llewellyn, I am not scared of people knowing what I think and/or say.
I live in Waihi, which is in the Bay of Planty, which, in turn, is in New Zealand.
new Zealand is an English speaking island nation with a Dutch sounding name, populated with a racial mix provided by many countries of the world.
A little bit behind the times in some things - not such a bad thing - a little ahead in other ways.

    1. Greetings, William. I do sometimes "clean up" the comments sections by deleting utter nonsense. At other times I leave it in place. Usually the commonsense readers overwhelm the bad comments with a flurry of replies, and there is a certain satisfaction in seeing that happen.

btw, I couldn't resist the temptation to Google you, and I can confirm your assertion that William Llewellyn resides in Waihi. The #1 hit however does note that you were buried there in 1899. The batteries must be getting low on your laptop...
