Funny the fourth book on the list is: "How to Survive the End of the World as We Know It: Tactics, Techniques, and Technologies for Uncertain Times" by James Wesley
Katie, a joke is supposed to be funny. This is not funny; it is dreadfully sad. I am afraid that this is indicative the mindset of too many of the American people. It really makes me sick.
This is precisely why I'm grateful to be living as an American expatriate overseas. Physical removal from the scene of the idiocy automatically increases one's perceived IQ by about fifty points, at least in the eyes of the Europeans.
"Tai-wiki-widbee" is an eclectic mix of trivialities, ephemera, curiosities, and exotica with a smattering of current events, social commentary, science, history, English language and literature, videos, and humor. We try to be the cyberequivalent of a Victorian cabinet of curiosities.
I'm using an old photo of my grandfather as an avatar; he would have been amused.

Coincidence?
Good point! Photo redone.
Thanks!
Cry. Definitely cry.
Oh dear... Please tell me this is a joke. A cruel, cruel joke.

Perhaps they're selling the first 2 books together with a discount.
;-)
Oh, good lord. Not a spoof? Really?

Hey Fletcher, nothing better than having Europeans think you're awesome!
Confession: When I go into bookstores and see titles like these displayed on the shelves, I put liberal political titles in front of them.
bigjohn's comment is the way I feel too. We laugh at the absurdity of these politicians at our own peril.
